The Power of Storytelling - Episode 35

November 24, 2020

Welcome back to The Power of Storytelling!

Martha and Brian - thank you for sharing your stories, your words, and your journey with all of us.

This week’s episode reminded me that we can turn our experiences, both difficult and joyful, into our greatest work. No matter what you’ve experienced, you can share the gift of those struggles and triumphs with the world. Don’t hide who you are, don’t hide what you experience, because I promise you someone out there will find their own strength, hope, and joy through your courage to share your story.

It’s truly my honor to share the stories and provide the space here to share a little bit more about the people behind these words. I encourage you to check out Martha and Brian after you listen to this week’s new episode.

Lessons In Letting Go with Michelle Moore

Lessons In Letting Go with Michelle Moore

November 12, 2020

Happy #SeekTheJoy Tuesday! I’m so excited to share the next episode in our series, “Lessons In” featuring Michelle Moore.

Michelle Moore joins us to share a lesson she’s learned about letting go, the growth that she’s experienced as a result of releasing expectations and allowing herself to be in the present, and the joy she’s found. Michelle’s reflections, honesty, and vulnerability will leave you feeling inspired, and remind you that learning to let go is a process. When we surrender to what is and embrace the unexpected twists and turns in our journey, we’re met with growth, opportunity, and possibilities beyond our wildest dreams.

Michelle Moore is the founder of Mother’s Grace, a nonprofit organization that has raised more than $5 million for families in acute crisis, assisting more than 6,000 mothers in the state of Arizona and throughout the world. Mother’s Grace addresses the critical needs of mothers and their children in the midst of tragic life events by helping them with housing costs, medication, meals, housekeeping, childcare, transportation, and a host of other immediate needs. Through mentorship and seed grants, Mother’s Grace also assists women in starting their own nonprofits, with the goal of producing a new generation of women leaders.

Lessons In Forgiveness with Kiersten McIntire

Lessons In Forgiveness with Kiersten McIntire

November 10, 2020

Happy #SeekTheJoy Tuesday! I’m so excited to share the next episode in our new series, “Lessons In” featuring Kiersten McIntire.

Kiersten McIntire joins us to share a lesson she’s learned about forgiveness, how quarantine allowed her to dive into forgiveness through the lens of understanding ancestral trauma and tapping into our inner child, the power of journaling to a specific emotion, the growth that she’s experienced as a result, and the joy she’s found. Kiersten’s reflections, honesty, and vulnerability will leave you feeling inspired, and remind you that our choice to forgive someone else is often the greatest gift that we can give ourselves.

Kiersten McIntire has been on the other side of kindness and knows how vital cultivating kindness is for living a happy and fulfilled life. After taking many steps on the path of her own empowerment, one of Kiersten's greatest passions is the desire to help all women feel empowered. Considering herself a Forgiveness and Acronym Artist, just as the old masters remade themselves through their paintings, Kiersten reinvents herself through forgiveness, as well as turning everyday words into acronyms, to help you live a more fulfilling and beautiful life. Her intention behind WEST: Women Empowered Stronger Together is to not only share her personal stories on releasing anger and coming into forgiveness but to also create a platform where other women can come forward to share theirs, as well. When a woman heals herself, it creates a powerful ripple effect allowing others to do the same.

Obsessed with anything from yesteryear, Kiersten recently started creating retro inspired paintings and artwork. (Launching soon) Kiersten has been teaching hot yoga classes for the last seven years and is passionate about her practice, students, and being a force of change in her community. She lives in Denver, Colorado.

To learn more about Kiersten and WEST you can connect with her on her website www.womenempoweredstrongertogether.com on Facebook here and on Instagram @westpodcast and via email info@womenempoweredstrongertogether.com
